Your support of this statement is timely because the California Air Resources Board is now deliberating the implementation of SB 375. SB 375, passed in 2008, is the California law that encourages local governments to adopt "smart growth" policies that enhance economic development and create job opportunities while reducing air pollution and greenhouse gases. As a local elected official, your position on these issues matters.
